Stacy Johnson

My name is Stacy Johnson. I was raised in Colman, South Dakota. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from South Dakota State University in 1998 and received my Juris Doctor degree in 2002 from University of South Dakota. I began my law career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Justice Robert Amundson, Justice of the Supreme Court of South Dakota and for the Honorable Justice Judith Meierhenry, Justice for the Supreme Court of South Dakota. After clerking for South Dakota's highest court, I moved to the Brainerd Lakes Area where I practiced law for 5 years. I joined Bantz, Gosch, & Cremer L.L.C. in April of 2008. I am married to Heath Johnson and we have two boys, Palmer (3) and Linus (9 Months). This is my first year serving on the Board and I am excited to be a part of such a worthwhile organization. Without art, the world would be a dull and drab place. Artwork enhances our homes, our businesses, and our public spaces. Can you imagine a world with no color? No performing arts? No music? I cannot and I do not want to. I am serving on the AARC Board to help promote and preserve the arts in Aberdeen.
