Barb Cutler

Not all of us can be artists -some of us are the appreciators. That's where I fit in! My name is Barb Cutler, and it's my pleasure to be part of the Aberdeen Area Arts Council board. During our 35 years living in Aberdeen, my husband, Bruce, and I and our three (now grown) children, Carley, Brock, and Grant, have all enjoyed and benefitted from the many wonderful arts opportunities our community offers. As an elementary school counselor for many years, I was able to see, firsthand, the great gift the AAAC gives to our students when they bring artists and concerts into our schools. The kids are so responsive, amazed, and enchanted! Though I have little artistic talent or training, it's my personal experience and belief that all forms of the arts enrich our lives, broaden our view of the world, and touch our hearts. How lucky we are to have access to such an expansive and rich arts venue in Aberdeen! I'm very happy to support the worthy efforts of the Aberdeen Area Arts Council.
