3rd Annual Art with Wolves: A morning of FREE art and fun for kids and families downtown!
Whether you have little NSU Wolves sports fans or crafty kids in your household, bring them downtown for a fun morning of meeting their Northern Wolves sports idols, making Spring crafts, and playing games! The Northern Wolves athletes are volunteering their time with us the morning of May 2nd, 2026 as a part of the larger Day of Champions. Natural Abundance Co-op will be bringing activities too!

Arts in the Park
June 20-21, 2026 Saturday 10 am - 6 pm; Sunday 10 am - 4 pm

Melgaard Park

For over forty years, exhibitors have lined the pavement within Melgaard Park with their handcrafted wares on the third full weekend in June. Each year, this juried event attracts exhibitors from over a dozen states. It is estimated that over 20,000 people go through the park during the two-day event. Arts in the Park features fine and folk art, entertainment and a wide variety of food items.

Storybook Land Festival

There is no admission charged for this festival that features storytellers, entertainment and hands-on arts and crafts activities for children and adults of all ages. Come out for the day or the weekend and enjoy the park, stories, music, art, food and fun for all!
