We are thrilled to announce that our very own Grace Chipman has accepted the offer of Executive Director at the Aberdeen Area Arts Council! If you’ve been to any of our events over the past couple of years, chances are you’ve seen Grace in action. She’s been working behind the scenes in an administrative role, bringing energy, heart, and an incredible eye for detail to everything she does. Now, we’re thrilled to see her step into this leadership role – she’s more than ready.

Grace brings a background in business and retail, a natural gift for organizing and planning, and a passion for making things happen. Off the clock, she can be found with her nose in a book or playing board games with her kids. She volunteers her time at many community activities, and brings that same spirit of connection to her work with AAAC.

Her vision for the future? Making sure everyone in our community has the chance to experience the arts and awaken their creativity.
