In mid May 2025 we said a bittersweet farewell to our Executive Director, Jason Hill. Jason joined us in Dec 2023. He has been a creative joy and delight to have leading our Council. His absence will be missed, but we couldn’t be more proud of him and his new opportunity as the Director and Executive Chef at Union Gospel Twin Cities in St Paul, MN.

You have the biggest heart and we know it will be put to good use ♡

Jason has lived in Aberdeen for over 25 years and is an alum of NSU. He has a background working in nonprofit, government agency, and private business. He is most known for, in his career and personal life, as a big supporter and ally for people with disabilities. Much of his free time is spent volunteering at Special Olympics and other organizations. And when he isn’t busy volunteering, he’s exploring his creative side in the kitchen, on the canvas, or with a guitar. He has a heart for community and is excited to bring the arts to more people than ever! Welcome, Jason!

Jason joined us just in time for Christmas, this past December 2023 ✨️
